Jesus Tattoo

Jesus Tattoo
There is perhaps no tattoo more iconic then the Jesus tattoo. It’s depicts the face recognizable by people all over the world. And not just among Christians either. I think you would be hard pressed to find a person of any religion who doesn’t recognize the figure in a Jesus tattoo. He is often depicted with a faint glow over his body, alluding to his divinity and is sometimes displayed with a halo over his head. Other depictions take a different route and focus more on his crucifixion. These are the ones where Jesus is shown nailed to the cross or wearing a crown of thorns. A great example of a crucifixion. Jesus tattoo is in the picture. Though it’s only a bust shot you can clearly see that it depicts the final moments before he was tacked up to the cross. He is wearing the infamous crown of thorns and there are trickles of blood running down his face. His countenance is reflective and his gaze is lifted towards the heavens asking hs heavenly father for strength and guidance. It’s a beautiful piece of work that can be revered by members of the faith and admired for it’s elegance by everyone.

Tattoos Pictures

Tattoos Pictures
As you can tell from the photograph there is a wide variety of tattoo pictures available to you. These tattoo pictures represent a small swath of what’s available in terms of style and design. There are tattoo pictures of animals as evidenced by the spider, the dog and the lizard. Another prominent motif epitomized in these tattoo pictures fall into the realism category. These are the realistic human faces, some benign and some horrific, that are almost identical to their original images. Before you get one of these realistic tattoos, however, you need to spend quite a bit of time finding a reputable tattoo artist. These are designs that require a ton of experience, so don’t be afraid to shop around for the best artist you can find. Ask for credentials and take a good hard look at his portfolio. The last category of tattoo pictures represented her fall into the fantasy realm. These include such things as dragons, unicorns and winged horses. Now, that I have run down the three major niches of the tattoo world, why not begin your search looking for a design that will complement your personal style and make an impression on your friends.

Wings Tattoos

Wings Tattoos
If you have always wanted a wing tattoo like the one in the photograph then listen up and take some notes. I’m going to go through the history and symbolism of the wing tattoo so that you can make an informed decision and decide whether or not you really want to get this design. Interestingly enough the angels present in the Western bible never had wings. If you read in the old or New Testament the angels and seraphim where very much human like in every way. In fact they did not even have a pair of wings. However, somewhere early on in history artists including painters and stain glass artists seemed to incorporate a pair of wings with the angels that came to earth. Why this was done or where it started has been lost in history but it can be seen almost everywhere. In modern art this traditional of angel wings has continued. Today the wing tattoo has come to symbolize two different things. The first thing they symbolize is freedom. The second thing that they have come to symbolize is closeness to God. This is probably due to the close association between heavenly beings and wings.
Wings Tattoos
I personally like wing tattoos. And believe me when I tell you that I’ve seen my fair share of them. But, usually when I see a wing tattoo, it’s inked onto someone’s back. And there is a good reason why people get wing tattoos inked there. It’s because angels have their wings on their backs. So, it’s actually a representation of that. Or it could mean that the person has an angel on their shoulder. They are literally asking for divine intervention in their life, and asking for their deities protection. But, I haven’t seen too many wing tattoos like the one here. It’s evidently a memorial of some sort to a loved one because it has the words "My Love" with wings and a halo on it. Now I would normally say that this is a memorial to a living one but the halo gives me pause. I’m thinking that the loved one represented by this tattoo has passed on and that is why they have a halo over the top of it. The person has litterally become an angel. If that’s the case then I can’t think of a better tribute then a wing tattoo such as this one.

Tattoo Art

Tattoo Art
In today’s world tattoo art is probably as big as it has ever been. More and more people who in the past would never have gotten a tattoo are now going out and doing it and makes one ask why? The answer is simple. It has become a cool thing to do. It used to be considered something done only by what would be considered lower class citizens but now it is pretty much acceptable by every one. A big part of this is because of celebrities who have been showing up in photographs and on television and movies with their many tattoos for some years now. And the mentality is that if they can get them so will I. Simply put, they made tattoo art cool again. Of course in some cultures it has always been cool and even expected of people but never really in mainstream western civilization culture has it been acceptable until very recently.

For the people who get into tattoo art and turn their bodies into a canvas like the girl in this picture, the tattoos themselves are usually a very personal thing and generally have some sort of special meanings known only to them. Not always, some are just done because they like the way they look, but most times there is more though behind them.

Tattoo Art
If your planning on getting some tattoo art inked on your skin then you are in very good company. Everybody from Joe sixpack on the street to the most famous of celebrities have embraced tattoo art. And when you go about choosing a design remember that you have quite a few tattoos available to you depending on the culture you want to take the tattoo art from. Let’s take a look at a few examples, particularly Mexican, Egyptian and Celtic tattoo art. Mexican tattoos are some of the most striking new patterns around. They take their themes from those of ancient Mayan, Inca and Aztec art, a very distinctive look that’s different from most other types of tattoo designs, yet instantly recognizable. The bold, geometric patterns of Mexican tattoos make them very well suited to tattoo art. Egyptian tattoos Like many other tattoo designs from mythology or ancient cultures, are growing in popularity. It’s all a part of the modern conception of tattoo art. Celtic tattoos and body art (as well as other tribal tattoos) have been very popular for the past decade or so. Put it down to the graceful, timeless beauty of these designs which seem to lend themselves particularly well to tattoo art. Now that I have given you a few examples of cultural tattoo art, why not research your heritage and find your personal style?

Lower Back Tribal Tattoos

Lower Back Tribal Tattoos
If you have been interested in getting a lower back tribal tattoo then listen up. There are a few things you need to know to pick the right design for you. First, if possible, try to avoid choosing a design at random. Many people have done this over recent years due to the rapid growth in the popularity of lower back tribal tattoo art. It goes something like this; they decide to get a tribal tattoo, they flip through a few designs and pick the first one that they like the look of. They often don’t know what their chosen design means and what other choices they could have made. If you want to find the right tribal art for your lower back tattoo, it’s important to do you homework and find some personal meaning from the design that you finally choose. Don’t jump on a fashion bandwagon. Look for a symbol that says something about who you are or what you believe. Use the internet to browse through as many lower back tribal tattoo designs as you can just to get a feel for the various styles developed by the different ancient tribes. And once you find a tribal style that you like, do some more research into the artwork of that tribe. See what else their history of art has to offer. And only once you’ve found a design that says something to you, should you end your search. If the design doesn’t excite you now, how do you think you’ll feel about it in twenty or thirty years? Probably not much better, right?
Lower Back Tribal Tattoos
Now we’re going to look at one of the lower back tribal tattoos, in other words, a tramp stamp. And this is a pretty good looking one too. One that would look very good on a hot girl’s lower back, just inches above her butt crack. I mean these may be tribal tattoos and all of that but we all know that they are meant to be sexually provocative in nature. In a way, for a lot of girls, they are meant to be flirting with the people that see them. If you like it, then it is speaking to you, so say something about it to the girl and there is the start of a conversation.

If you want to get one of these lower back tribal tattoos there are thousands of samples you can look at on the internet, and if someone does not have internet they can always go to tattoo shops and check out their sample books. There are so many of these type of tattoos available out there that the point will come where you will just have to make up your mind, otherwise you could literally be looking at samples for years to come. That is how popular these lower back tribal tattoos really are.

Tattoo Butterfly

Tattoo Butterfly
If your looking to get a tattoo butterfly inked into your flesh then there are a few things that you should know about this beautiful, and almost angelic insect. Almost every culture throughout the world has revered the butterfly. But, in different cultures it’s inherent symbolism can mean different things. In Japan, the tattoo butterfly represents emerging beauty and grace, with the added instruction to regard all change as joyful, not traumatic. The tattoo butterfly symbol was displayed as both a Clan or Family crest and as an emblem on the armor of samurai warriors. The butterfly was favored for the dual nature of its delicate and elegant symmetry, and its transcendent evolution from a lowly caterpillar to noble insect, carried aloft on radiant wings of color and beauty. Likewise, the Native American honours the Butterfly as an emblem of guidance in change. In China, it is still a popular symbol of marital bliss and conjugal harmony. So, as you can see the tattoo butterfly is often one that inspires us to greater spiritual height. Take the tattoo butterfly design in the picture as an example to help you choose a design that fit’s in with your personal body style.
Tattoo Butterfly
The tattoo butterfly is one of the most popular designs being done today. It probably ranks right at the top of those being done on women, and is a symbol that has even come to typify the tattoos of the 90s. While tattoo butterfly designs surely do capitalize on their great beauty and diversity, they are also highly symbolic creatures in many cultures, including our own. In Japan, one butterfly stands for young womanhood while two symbolize marital bliss. To the Aztecs of ancient Mexico however, the butterfly stood both for the souls of dead warriors who had fallen on the battlefield and the souls of women who had died in childbirth, the two most noble deaths of which an Aztec could conceive. In Christianity it likewise stands for the soul which has escaped the confines of the flesh. In the West, the tattoo butterfly is the symbolism of the butterfly as it centers upon its unique transformation. From it’s beginning as the slow crawling caterpillar, then to the dormant and captive chrysalis or cocoon, and finally the rebirth into a light and airy winged creature, the metamorphosis of the butterfly is one of its most powerful and uplifting meanings that can be seen in tattoo designs today.

Cool Tattoo: Hunting For Great Designs

Finding more images on Japanese Tattoos, Tattoo Design, Tribal Tattoos, Dragon tattoos, Kanji Tattoos, Yakuza Tattoos, Cross Tattoos, Koi Fish Tattoos, Japanese Tattoo Art, Japanese Tattoo Styles, Japanese Girl Tattoo, Tattoo Removal, and Much Other.

Cool TattoosThere are tens of thousands of cool tattoos for girls on the internet. It's too bad that 9 out of ten women will never even find 10% of the truly great ones, though. Why aren't; they finding the good artwork? Because most people will simply rely on search engines to find it and they don't bring up many quality tattoo galleries, at all. Well, here are quick tips which can help you find tons of the cool tattoos you've been bypassing.

You can continue to use search engines if you truly want to. Just make sure you have a lot of patience and a lot of time on your hands, because it can take quite a while to weed through the tattoo galleries. There are so many of them out there and this is all search engines usually pull up when looking forcool tattoos for girls. Sure, you can find a diamond in the rough, but be prepared to look a little longer.

This is hard for most people, because we live in a world ruled by instant gratification. We want everything "right now". This is a horrible trait to carry when you are looking for cool tattoos for girls. This is what makes women rush into a decision and settle on a design they only "sort of" like. A tattoo will be on you for the rest of your life, so why wouldn't you want to take the time to find exactly what you want? It just makes sense.

Since search engines don't help you find the cool tattoos for girls that you are after, you will need an alternative method of finding them. The best alternative happens to be internet forums. Why? Because they are filled with real live people and these people have real thoughts and opinions. The great thing about the bigger forums is that they are always sizzling with topics about tattoo artwork. You can stick you head into all of the past topics and come away with a slew of links that women post. They have found the cool tattoos for girls and the galleries that have them. You simply take what they've found and the rest is pretty easy.

This isn't to say that you should now pick something in the next ten minutes and get it inked. No matter where you go, you should always take a bit of time to make sure you get the "exact" tattoo you want. There is a difference between cool tattoos for girls and getting a tattoo that you want. Don't get something simply because it's the new fad, or because other girls think it's good.

Friendship Tattoos

Friendship Tattoos
In this image we see a couple of friendship tattoos that are pretty much self explanatory. A small dragon on a girls ankle and a slightly larger version of the same dragon on the guys ankle, who is standing next to her. And chances are most likely that in this instance this is boyfriend and girlfriend. And that’s cool too. This is a good way to show a person how much you care for them. And it’s a way that you can’t get hurt to bad when things break up. At the worst, when it’s over, you are left with a small dragon on your ankle. And that’s no big deal. It’s not like having a person’ s name on you for life. Which I do because I was dumb enough to put a girlfriends name on my ad when I was fourteen years hold. Not something I would recommend.

Like I have said you really can’t go wrong with friendship tattoos like these two. While it shows your friend or loved one how much you care. there’s just no downside to be had. And that makes it a great deal all the way around. So if you decide to go for friendship tattoos at any time in your life, be smart and do it the right way.

Friendship Tattoos
There are many different reasons to get a tattoo. They can be used to show off parts of your personality, to confirm your personal beliefs or simply because they are beautiful. But, no tattoo imparts so much meaning or value then the friendship tattoo. Imagine a group of friends each getting the same tattoo. It’s meaning increases drastically if the design has a meaning to every person in the group. It could be the date that they met, or a symbol signifying something symbolic. I can’t think of anything that’s more striking or sentimental then people getting a friendship tattoo. You and your mate can also get the same tattoo design. There is a word of caution with getting a friendship tattoo, however. What if you and your friends break up, then your stuck with a tattoo that is permanent. But, if your sure that the relationship is going to last then it can be something that brings you and your friend closer. It’s something that both you and your friend share and no one else. What can be a better testament to the love of your friend then to get a friendship tattoo? It’s something that will bring you and the other person together forever. What can be a better reason to get a tattoo then that?

Hummingbird Tattoo

Hummingbird Tattoo
In this image we can see where someone has used a hummingbird tattoo to show off two names. Probably two names of a couple who has gotten married. That’s the guess anyway being as these names seem to be last names. It is almost as if this tattoo were symbolizing two names that were joined together in flight. Their flight of life in fact. And that is quite a nice thought indeed, is it not? The more I think about it, the more I like this tattoo for that very reason.

Like this hummingbird tattoo, I like when people use their tattoos to signify something very important in their life. Something like a marriage or the birth of a child, or anything like that. And I guess I like that because it means you just can’t go wrong. No one can tell you there’s anything wrong with just a tattoo because it will always make sense to you. And at the end of the day that is all that will ever really matter. And you want to use a hummingbird tattoo to achieve this goal, then why not. Go for it and enjoy it.

Hummingbird Tattoo
Humming birds are symbols of peace, and perseverance. Dragon lilies are also known throughout the world as a symbol of beauty, which is probably why this hummingbird tattoo is so beautiful. This tattoo uses so many colors; Red, blue, green, yellow, black, pink, purple, and white. The humming bird itself is mostly green, while the feathers are a mix of blue, red, and pink. the tail feathers of the hummingbird are purple and white, while the beak is a yellow color. There is a tint of pinkish red on the side of the humming birds face, and the air coming off the hummingbirds wings are a teal color. the dragon lilies are pink, blue, and orange, all mixed with a hint of white and with green stems and leaves. There are smaller flowers in the background, as if to say they are off in the distance. This is a masterful peace of art work, utilizing the beauty of the dragon lily with the harmony of the hummingbird. All of the colors mix wonderfully into a perfect pallet of color, and the design itself breaths beauty. Just another example of how good animal tattoos can look, if worked on real hard.

Tattoo Cross

Tattoo Cross
Here we have a picture of a tattoo cross that is an extremely interesting one. Not only is it not a traditional cross but it appears to be made of the very iron spikes used to hold Jesus to the cross by his hands and feet. At least that is the impression it makes on me as I look at it. I could be totally wrong of course and if I am, I would like to know it. The classic tattoo cross of course is of a Christian cross, a Celtic cross or a tribal cross. Those are without a doubt the three most common ones out there that one finds as tattoos. And the general meaning for all of them is the same. Simply put, they stand for a God of one sort or another.

The tattoo cross in this image is extremely well drawn and executed as a tattoo. I would have to say the man or woman who did this is one of the best tattoo artists around. They have to be. The work is simply superb. Just compare to the partial second tattoo showing in the same picture and you will see that there is no comparison in quality at all. This is a great tattoo cross.

Tattoo Cross
This is not the best tattoo cross that I have ever seen. Actually, to me it seems a tad bit rudimentary. But, often with tattoo cross designs it’s the meaning and not the execution that matters to the bearer. The deep symbolic meaning of cross tattoos have expanded to include a wide range of personal creations that may or may not depict religious significance. As one of the most flexible of tattoo designs, the cross is often combined with many other additions that utilize hearts, flowers, animals, names, and faces that enhance the overall meaning, Crosses are often chosen as the design for many first-timers, which often follows the loss of a loved one. The acceptance that this tattoo does not always refer to religious conviction is currently widespread, as there are plenty of individuals who choose this design simply because they are attracted to the shape of the cross. For this reason, tattoo artists are often knowledgeable in the various tattoos that represent both religious and non-religious beliefs. Popular tattoos showcasing religious crosses include the Latin, Celtic, and St. Andrew’s cross. Non-religious crosses often selected include the Ankh and the Gothic Cross.
